Description
The fourth season begins when Eardwulf and his men appear as they try to chase Uhtred's party while escaping through a mysterious countryside. Tensions may escalate between Edward and Marcian, while Aelfwynn seems to suffer from illness everywhere, and Edward proposes an unexpected path to reach Mercia. Meanwhile, Uhtred reluctantly prepares to take over in Mercia after he tries to take over.
