Father Jim Shannon takes his family toward this new world of beauty and mystery and perhaps a little terror, and they start their lives again in that place. Shannons arrived and were brought to Cmdr. Nathaniel Taylor, a leading settlement leader and leader who directs them and warns them that Terra Nova is a good place to live but it seems very exciting.
