Description
This American film presents a biographical view of the story of the first marriage of the same sex in Spain after the Roman Empire. It was a period of turmoil and ideal marriage was forbidden. One day, two women, Marcella Gracia Ives and Eliza Sanchez Lorega, tried to marry in La Coruna, but Eliza had to adopt a male identity. Already, a male name was given to Eliza, the new name Mario Sanchez, as included in the marriage certificate.
